Der Vater an I climbed the tallest church spire in the world. The best news about that: we have an immediate out to climb any more church spires if we don't want to. Why climb another after you've climbed the tallest?

It looks bigger in real life. |

The view from the top was amazing! Unfortunately these two dudes got in our way. |
|
Jeez, again?? |

God's view of the Danube, as is my understanding. |

Tip of the hat, Vater. |

We couldn't get down fast enough, hence the blur. |
Meanwhile, Die Mutter and Das Madchen drank coffee. Apparently 768 steps in praise of the Lord was not of immediate interest to them. Der Hund, also, was more interested in laying in the sun and growling at other passing dogs.
A walk through the Fishermans Quarters, and cross Ulm off the list!

Der Hund doesn't totally understand the concept of photographs. |
|
Flamkuchen for lunch! |
|
Its not an optical allusion, the walls are getting closer and Das Madchen is getting smaller. |

"One day, man will cross these waters" he proclaimed. |
**and just for fun, try out the popular German tongue-twister about Ulm:
In Ulm, um Ulm und um Ulm herum.
("In Ulm, around Ulm and round about Ulm.")
Please Der Junge, Das Machen and I were sipping frothy cappacinos in the lazy, warm,German Sunday Morning sun, contemplating (along with Der Hund) the higher complexities of Einstein's Theory of Relativity (as we were reminded when we visited his town of Ulm). Of course, you guys had to sprint up 768 stairs to prove your 'brawn power' over your 'brain power.' Who do you think had the better time?? xoxom
